Eyebrow Routine Tools

Eyebrow Routine Tools

Hello,

This is a topic that I wanted to cover for so long. Eyebrows Routine is one of most requested topics, I thought I had to divide it by parts, for now we are going to talk only about the tools. This is my first post about brows, but I will have other posts talking about products for different skin tones, different products to fill brows, brows shape and tutorials on how to do it. I’ve come from a long road when it comes to eyebrows, and right now, these are the products that work for me,  these tools are everything that I use to achieve the brows I have on my makeup looks.

  1. NYX Brow Pencil – Shade Dark Brown
  2. NYX Concealer – Shade Tan
  3. Sigma Flat Definer Brush
  4. Anastasia Beverly Hill Dip Brow Pomade
  5. Coastal Scent Angled Brush
  6. Real Techniques Shading Brush

I know that for many it is not necessary all of that, but as I said this is what works for me. We all have different features and our brows are not an exception. For some women a pencil is enough, but in my case, all I do is 1. I start off with the pencil brushing the eyebrows’  hair and draw the shape of the brow 2. then I apply  the pomade with the angled brush only in the areas that I have no hair, in order to have a darker finish 3. take the concealer and define the edges, cleaning around the brow 4. although, the brows are sharpen, I still need to blend the concealer around it, then I use the Real Technique brush.

If you are still trying to figure out how to do the brows just be patient because I’m going to have  a pictorial on this, hope you find this information helpful.

Thanks,

Xoxo

Valentine’s Day Makeup Look #1

Valentine's Day Makeup Look #1

Hi There,

This is my first makeup look for Valentine’s Day. I would prefer to wear at night, for dinners anything that is not under the daylight because of the smokiness. On my makeup, personally, less is always more, I hate exaggerating on things, and for Valentine’s would be too much wearing too many bold colors. Since the eyes are already “kinda” dramatic, I decided to combine the lips with a nude/neutral color. All that I used on my eyes is from the Urban Decay – Naked 2 Pallet, if you don’t have it you can try with whatever you have on your makeup collection, you can find out there lots of pallets with the same colors. Hope you feel inspired! Check details below:

Back To School Makeup Look (For Parties)

Back To School Makeup Look (For Parties)

Hello,

School has started and I am ready to party and see friends on the weekend, I had no idea how I would dress my face to go out, until I find two wonderful products at Mac Store; the Heroine Lipstick and a loose glitter from the holiday collection for 2013, which was the last one and it is probably discontinued (lucky me, yay). On the picture below, you can clearly see a hint of the glitter, it appears more obviously personally but let me say something: “it is BE-U-TI-FUL”, so beautiful I cant get enough so I also used on my face as illuminator. The lipstick… There is no way to miss it. It is just colorful, bright, vibrant and matches perfectly with any skin tone. The lipstick is actually matte but on my lips appears a little bit more glossy because of the lip balm I am using (I use lots of lip balm because of the weather here in Tulsa). For the rest of the eyes, I used a brown, any brown, from ELF pallet on my cut crease, an orange as the transition color and blackout from the Naked 2 pallet on my outer V to add more depth and smokiness. For the rest of the face, the products will be listed down below. Hope you feel inspired.

Have a nice semester,

Xoxo
