Lip Colors For Spring

Lip Colors For Spring

Hi Y’all

Spring has arrived!!! For me Spring and summer is all about color, there is no spring without pastels (beiges, pinks, oranges and bla bla bla bla). In this post, Im showing you guys the lip colors that I will be rocking during the spring time (probably on summer as well). I know my skin looks kinda dark in the picture above but this lipsticks match pretty well with my skin tone. On the picture above, you can only see 4 lipsticks, but they are actually 5 lipsticks and 1 lip cream. (From left to right, Top: 1.FastPlay, 2.Up the Amp, 3.Chilli, 4.Candy Yum Yum)

The lipsticks are all from mac as you can see up in the picture 1., and the lip cream is from NYX. The swatches shows every and each color that I am talking about, the first color, the one on my wrist is the Mac lipstick Up The Amp, the second is the oldie but goodie Candy Yum Yum, the third is the retro matte Relentlessly Red, the fourth is the matte Chilli, the fifth is the amplified Fast Play and last is the Lip cream from NYX. Unfortunally, the lips cream does not show any name or number on its package but it has an orangy-nude-beigeish kind color LOL, I bought at Ulta and was only $5. Hope I will find more lipsticks and lip creams that I can use during the spring, and hope you go buy all of these ones right here.

Current Favorite Products

Current Favorite Products

Hello There,

So, this is my first current favorite products, I couldn’t be more excited to show you what I am currently using the most, why I use these products and just for the record, some are the ones that help me have all these flawless looks. Read below for more information.

IMG_4123  IMG_4132

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade.  I started using it only one week ago, and I have no regrets. Actually, this color isn’t the one for me, this is too dark and I was pretty sure of it when I bought it. This color is the Ebony I think the one that would be perfect according to my skin tone is the Chocolate but they were out of it, so i just decided to go with this one anyway because it covers perfectly my brows flaws, plus, it is waterproof and it does not crease or comes out for any reason. Available Here.

2. MAC LIPSTICKS (1.Flat Out Faboulous; 2. Relentlessly Red; 3. Fast Play) I use to say that every single lipstick that fits me, will fit any other skin tone, because I am dark, and girls with dark complexion struggle to find the perfect lipstick… but these here here fit me so well and I think everyone should try it. The first two are matte and the last one, this nude, is amplified. Check them here.

3. Coastal Scents Brushes These are AMAZING, it comes on a set of 22 pieces but I am drunk in love with these two. No name on the brushes, sorry. The thiner one I use to smudge the concealer around my brows and the bigger I use to set the loose powder under my eyes. The complete set costs about $30, and the quality is amazing, see the complete set here. 4. MAC Glitter “Holiday Collection” It came on a set as well, set of 5, but it is my favorite. It just shines so bright I cant get over it. Unfortunately, it discontinued but I think you can find on Amazon. Ahhm, this is the glitter that I also used on Back To School Makeup Look.

5. MAC BLUSH “Love Thing” This is my second time buying it, I just love love love love love it. Nothing much to say. Highly recommend. Check here. 6. Davidoff CoolWater This colone has been my favorite since forever, I just cant get enough! I use since I am 15 and I stopped using for I while and I am using it back again Since this January and my 50 ml are almost at the end. Fresh, airy, cool it feels like a breeze.

Thanks for passing by,

Xx

Valentine's Day Makeup Look #2

Hi Lovers,

For the second Valentine’s Day Makeup Look, I decided to go “all pink everything”. Pink is girly, romantic and I think would be perfect for any occasion of the day, either day or night, because is not that bold. The Eyeshadows I am using are from The ELF pallet Bright Color, that I purchased at would Walgreens 2 years ago for about $17. The Lipstick is from Mac, and I am loving it, I think I’ve found the perfect pink lipstick for my skin tone, and that matches perfectly with any skin-tone because of its consistency and brightness. On my checks I am wearing the Nars Best-Seller pinky blush “Mata Hari”. For the rest of the face, check details below. Hope you like the look and feel inspired to try.

Valentine’s Day Makeup Look #1

Valentine's Day Makeup Look #1

Hi There,

This is my first makeup look for Valentine’s Day. I would prefer to wear at night, for dinners anything that is not under the daylight because of the smokiness. On my makeup, personally, less is always more, I hate exaggerating on things, and for Valentine’s would be too much wearing too many bold colors. Since the eyes are already “kinda” dramatic, I decided to combine the lips with a nude/neutral color. All that I used on my eyes is from the Urban Decay – Naked 2 Pallet, if you don’t have it you can try with whatever you have on your makeup collection, you can find out there lots of pallets with the same colors. Hope you feel inspired! Check details below:

Back To School Makeup Look (For Parties)

Back To School Makeup Look (For Parties)

Hello,

School has started and I am ready to party and see friends on the weekend, I had no idea how I would dress my face to go out, until I find two wonderful products at Mac Store; the Heroine Lipstick and a loose glitter from the holiday collection for 2013, which was the last one and it is probably discontinued (lucky me, yay). On the picture below, you can clearly see a hint of the glitter, it appears more obviously personally but let me say something: “it is BE-U-TI-FUL”, so beautiful I cant get enough so I also used on my face as illuminator. The lipstick… There is no way to miss it. It is just colorful, bright, vibrant and matches perfectly with any skin tone. The lipstick is actually matte but on my lips appears a little bit more glossy because of the lip balm I am using (I use lots of lip balm because of the weather here in Tulsa). For the rest of the eyes, I used a brown, any brown, from ELF pallet on my cut crease, an orange as the transition color and blackout from the Naked 2 pallet on my outer V to add more depth and smokiness. For the rest of the face, the products will be listed down below. Hope you feel inspired.

Have a nice semester,

Xoxo
